We are growing in your area! We are seeking both Certified Instructors and individuals interested in becoming certified as instructors to join our team.
We are looking for self-motivated, energetic individuals who can work and teach independently or as part of an instructor team to provide American Heart Association (AHA) and/or American Red Cross (ARC) training.
An AHA & ARC Instructor must be able to:
Available positions range from flexible part time to full time. Instructors are able to teach four to eight hours per day from one to seven days per week at various times of the day (morning, afternoon and evening class options) every day of the week. Some instructors choose to teach only a few times per month, depending upon his or her availability.
Hourly pay starts at $20-25 per hour, with instructors who own equipment often compensated at higher rates. Benefits available to all team members include participation in our retirement plan with company match ($5,000 minimum annual gross earnings required). Benefits available to full time team members include Paid Time Off (PTO), Health Insurance and Paid Holidays. Travel is not required but there are opportunities to travel to teach.

We are a family-owned AHA Training Site and ARC Licensed Training Provider based in Delafield, WI. We provide CPR, First Aid, BLS, ACLS, PALS and other training programs throughout Wisconsin. Over 500 instructors are aligned or affiliated with APHE and teach AHA and ARC classes through our organization.

A role at APHE means being on the front lines of teaching resuscitation to healthcare workers and non-healthcare students, with the potential to positively impact thousands of students and fellow team members. Our team is always striving to improve and support each other throughout our careers.
APHE Missouri can certify you as an AHA CPR, First Aid, BLS, ACLS or PALS instructor and/or ARC Instructor. After certification, you can apply to teach the classes that we offer as a member of our team or for your own organization or customers, or both. We offer installment payments for instructor classes so you can sign up and complete the Instructor Class and certification while paying for the class and materials over six months! And, when you sign up, pay for, and complete an AHA Instructor Class with APHE, we reimburse you the cost of the class when you teach at least 24 BLS classes as an employee of an APHE Training Site within 24 months of being hired.
AHA instructors who independently teach classes may apply to align with our AHA Training Center. We provide complimentary instructor recertification, class support and certification cards (per card fee applies). Set up and teach your classes–we take care of the rest. We do not charge a fee to align with our TC.
